evga precision x settings dont save after computer restarts

I have read a few who said their pc restarts as well when launching the game. I also did some quick research but can't find anything similar to my issue.

I am still concerned as this is my first good rig and I'm afraid of having a long-term effect on any of the component. but it still happens, before the update it'll probably blink 8-10 times on an hour of game play and now it blinks once in maybe 45mins to an hour of game play. it seem to have lessen after the latest update as it's not blinking as often and the game has not crashed yet. I'm wondering if anyone's experiencing something similar. the led doesn't blink at all when playing those titles, so I'm guessing it has something to do with the game and how or why it's causing abnormal power to my videocard. I also play Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Control and it doesn't happen with those games. I'd just be going about a quest and my monitor will just go black and the pc just restarts.

which brings me to my main issue, cause this made my PC restart twice now. now the thing is, I only see this happen when playing AC Valhalla. although it only happens every once in a while I'm a bit concerned cause it's an indicator of abnormal power going to the card. So I noticed the led on my videocard (on the 8-pin port) blinks white while playing the game.
