sig p226 short reset trigger installation

I have smaller hands, and my grip when drawing leaves me with just a little less finger pad on the trigger than I'd like. 35% of the repairs I do is to fix DIY repairs and modifications.So, does anyone have a short trigger installed on their Sig? I am referring to the actual trigger designed for a shorter reach, as opposed to the 'short reset trigger' (SRT). If for some reason it goes wrong thats what gunsmiths are here for.

it is a forum for firearm related information in the gunsmithing/how to section which most people take more seriously than Youtube. This isn't some Youtube site generic video. a lawsuit would be most likely filed as well. If you not a trained professional or factory certified and the instructions you give damaged the firearm or injured/killed someone, without a disclaimer, a bill would be the least of someones problems. but a disclaimer is not only something that should be done for CYA, but if I remember correctly must be done per forum rules (could be wrong on that been awhile since I read all the forum rules). If you want to give instuctions to do a gun repair or modification to others as a expert go ahead. I have had several of these where parts got lost, people used a tapered punch on the pins and widened the holes so pins pop out during shooting, parts got forced in and stuck etc.Īnyone wants to do a DIY gun repair go ahead I got no problem with it and hope it goes good for you. most like not if something doesn't get stuck or a restricted part doesn't go missing.

My only problem with this post was there was no disclaimer, as it should be on any posts, that the procedure has the potential to void a warranty if something goes wrong and it goes back to the factory. I have given alot of free advice, help and how to instuctions to the members here so your remarks are made from a point of ignorance and provocation.
